Principal's Place
Dear Cornerstone family,
Blessings this holiday season from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. What a wonderful opportunity God has given me in being principal at Cornerstone. Yesterday after chapel, I was sitting in my office and heard children singing Christmas carols. Suddenly they burst into a chorus of "Amazing Grace". I thought this never happened to me in public school. How thankful I am for the freedom to sing, worship and teach about our Lord at Cornerstone!
In the book of Deuteronomy, Moses adnonishes the Israelites that as they travel into the promised land they would live in houses they didn't build, eat from vineyards they didn't plant and drink from wells they didn't dig. He exhorts them "...not to forget the Lord who rescued you from slavery in Egypt." (Deut. 6:12 NLT) God has been our provision at Cornerstone for 20 years. Let us not forget Him during this holiday season. Let us not forget to teach our children about his love and kindness He bestows upon us. Let us not forget that Jesus is the central focus of this wonderful Christmas season.
We have $500 pledged for our archery program. We still need $1700. If each family would donate $35, we would be able to purchase the necessary equipment. This is a program that would benefit our entire student body. Please consider making a donation for the end of the year. May God bless your generosity.
Yours in Christ,
Joe Allen
